Online Giving

When you give, you are joining the Milestone Church mission of reaching people and building lives. As many people are reached for Christ and lives are built on biblical foundations, please know that it couldn't happen without your generosity. Know also, that when you give your tithe (10% of your income) you are acting in obedience and worship to God, inviting God's blessing in all areas of life. (
Malachi 3:10).

We are grateful for your regular giving and hope the convenience and simplicity of online giving will be helpful to you. If you have any questions about online giving or giving in general, please contact Lawrence Chung at 817.812.3600 or email lawrence.chung@milestonechurch.com.
GIVING FAQ'S
Difference between tithe and offering: Financial giving can be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering.
Online Giving Security: The online giving form is encrypted with 128-bit encryption security. Encryption is a process that scrambles information into a format that unauthorized parties can not decode or utilize. 128-bit encryption is the strongest, most secure form of encryption generally utilized in Internet browsers in North America.
Online Giving & Credit Cards: Milestone Church does not advocate going into debt to give to the church or any other ministry. Online giving is a convenient tool to help you regularly, and automatically give your tithe and offering. We encourage you yo use debit card if you do not pay your monthly balance.

GIVING PRINCIPLES
First Things First: The first belongs to God. We find this principle all through God's Word. Tithing, giving God the first ten percent of our income to the local church, is the primary way we acknowledge that God is first. (
Proverbs 3:9,10).
Know Giving, Know Life: Giving is the antidote for materialism. Whereas the tithe is giving ten percent of your income to the local church, an offering is given out of the ninety percent of your income. Therefore the offering is giving over and above the tithe. The Bible says that by giving generously we are able to "take hold of the life that is truly life." You aren't really living unless you are freely giving. (
I Timothy 6:18,19)
The Treasure Test: Giving is the only area in the Bible where God invites us to test Him. Give your tithe (the first 10% of your income) to God and see if He does not open the floodgates of heaven to bless you in ways that you never dreamed possible. (
Malachi 3:10)
An Eternal Investment: Even when the stock market's down, you can make an investment that pays dividends for a lifetime and beyond. By investing in the life-changing message of Jesus, you can leverage your money for eternal purposes. (
I Timothy 6:7)
